Since its founding in 2013 as the Jacksonville Park Foundation, our organization has been  dedicated to revitalizing community spaces and enriching the lives of residents across  Jacksonville and the broader Morgan County. Over the past decade, we have grown in  scope and vision—fostering stronger connections between people, parks, agriculture, arts,  and community well-being. 

Today, we are proud to present this new strategic plan that sets a bold new course—a true  north star—for our organization’s future. This plan elevates our mission by embracing the  expanded identity of the Greater Regional Opportunities Trust, or GRO Trust.
